Moskva River Cruise
25 June 2010

Employees and more than 30 alumni from the Moscow and Kiev offices gathered on a snow-white boat and spent a great evening aboard a Moskva River cruise. Among the many activities that evening were the presentation of the “Distinguished Member of A.T. Kearney Alumni Club” award, video-greetings from CEO, Paul Laudicina, and funny competitions between alumni teams.

During the cruise participants not only enjoyed each other’s company, but also the remarkable sights of the capital of Russia and amazing summer weather..

It was a great time! And this tradition will be carried on in future.

Kitzbuhel Ski Outing
18-21 March, 2010

Letskitzagain 2010 was another great event. A big “Thank You” to all who participated and helped make our traditional ski outing a big success! Participation was overwhelming. 140 Kearneys, alumni, their partners, kids and friends from many parts of Europe traveled to Kitzbühel. We welcomed more than 30 alumni plus their partners, which not only proves the popularity of the event but also shows that our alumni network is strong and thriving. We had our first get-together on Thursday with over 50 participants at the “Hotel zur Tenne”. On Friday we enjoyed the famous “Kaiserschmarrn” at Hochkitzbuehel for lunch and LetskitzTheDinner with traditional Tyrolean food at the famous alpine lodge "Streifalm". “Tiroler Gröstl” was served for lunch on Saturday in Hochkitzbühel before we continued with LetskitzTheRace. More than 50 racers proved their skiing skills. Non-skiers cheered up at our snow-bar with drinks and music. Congratulations and thanks again to all participants for their outstanding performance!

LetskitzTheParty on Saturday night took place at the Tenne, where we had a theme party and celebrated the “Almrausch” night. After great musical entertainment by 5 Tyrolean musicians - “Sasa” - our DJ “Bernd” took over and we danced till early morning.

London Alumni Reception

More than 150 alumni and employees gathered at The Lansdowne Club, Fitzmaurice Place, London to reminisce and catch up on what’s new with the firm and each other.

A.T. Kearney Meets Europe

“A.T. Kearney Meets Europe” was an outstanding event and a great success. Participation was overwhelming for out pilot event in Vienna. More than 80 Kearneys, alumni, partners, kids and friends from many parts of Europe got together in Vienna and spent a wonderful time.

We had our first get-together on Friday with over 60 participants at the Feuerwehr Wagner wine tavern. Traditional food surrounded by typical Viennese music marked the beginning of a great weekend.

The highlight of the event was the gala dinner at Palais Pallavicini. Like Mozart, Beethoven, famous politicians and other celebrities before, we enjoyed a perfect dinner in the impressive ballroom of the palais.

Italian Alumni & Friends

Milan Alumni & Friends gathered on October 29 for a reception, networking and an informative presentation. During the evening, Luca Rossi (Unit Head) and Luca Olivari (Principal) shared the results of a survey we led for the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria -the Italian Association of Entrepreneurs. The comprehensive survey results were presented at the Association’s annual national Forum in July 2009.

We had the pleasure to welcome guests of different seniorities and who have left A.T. Kearney in the course of a very wide range of time, from very few weeks to well over a decade. The common element that united them was their enthusiasm to be there. Thanks everybody! We look forward to meeting you again early in 2010: three more Alumni & Friends meetings will are planned over the course of the year.

Charity Event with clients and alumni
Frankfurt, Germany

This year, our traditional Office Meets Arts night took place on June 18 in the historical Städel Museum, the oldest one in Frankfurt. We welcomed more than 220 guests and alumni to our cultural rendezvous. The program commenced with a guided tour of the outstanding works of art in the Städel with main focus on “paintings of love and romance.” Afterwards, the mezzo soprano singer, Katharina Kammerloher, who is a member of the ensemble of the State Opera House Unter den Linden, conducted a round of romantic summer songs. Accompanied by the pianist Prof. Burkhard Kehring, the program included the “Wesendonck Lieder” by Richard Wagner and four songs from Gustav Mahler’s “The Young Boy’s Magic Horn.”

Next on the agenda was the flying buffet that took place with fantastic weather in the Frankfurter Städel’s garden. Our guests continued their intensive and inspiring discussions way past midnight. Just like we have done over the last few years, donations were collected for the restoration of the world-renowned Opera House Unter den Linden, and several thousand Euros were contributed!

We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2010.

Alumni Nearly 100 alumni attended Madrid’s annual alumni reception, held this year at the Discotheque Casino de Madrid. Old friends shared drinks and reminisced about A.T. Kearney’s over 20 years in Spain.

A.T. Kearney Sailing 2008 in Croatia
28 June 2008
Following the resounding success of our sailing trip last year, the motto again this fall was: Cast off and sail away! A.T. Kearney chartered five yachts for one week, split up into two trips each of 30 sailors. Once again, the crews were a colorfully diverse mix from (practically) all offices - including Warsaw and Moscow - from a wide array of nationalities, consisting of active and former Kearneys with their partners. The adventurous group included both aspiring sailors as well as those with more experience on the high seas.

Office meets Arts

More than 100 guests and alumni gathered in the Städel Museum in Frankfurt. Office meets Arts combined a visit to the highlights of the Städel Museum with a charity concert. Sylvia Schwartz, soprano in the ensemble of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, sung a varied selection of summer melodies. After the concert everybody enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the museum garden on a perfect summer evening.

Brussels Alumni Lunch

A.T. Kearney's Brussels office hosted the second informal lunch meeting of 2008. Some 15 alumni as well as Brussels staff gathered around the lunch table in the boardroom to catch up. We learned a lot about each others' individual endeavors, found out about their new jobs, extended our personal networks and enjoyed each others company.
