Hong Kong Alumni Event

On the 14th May, The Hong Kong Office proudly hosted an alumni event in our Wanchai Office. More than 20 alumni were welcomed by our Managing Director Bernhard Hartmann, our Greater China partners and all our Hong Kong office staff, with an array of delicious finger cocktail food and champagne.

It was a truly enlightening evening to end the working week, as we were able to catch up and chat with multiple friends who used to work with us, many of whom we have not seen for a while. It was nice to learn about their latest news – some have moved onto and excel in other industries, some have now moved one step up in their personal lives, enjoying or anticipating the fun (and of course responsibility) of parenthood.

A.T. Kearney Beijing / Shanghai Office Opening cum Alumni Networking Reception

More than 40 alumni joined our Beijing and Shanghai office opening cum alumni networking reception in April and June 2008. It was a happy occasion where friendships were renewed and contacts re-established. The attendees include those who joined the firm when our Beijing office first started in the 1990s, Jinghui Liu and Robert Zou. Robert has gone to set up a successful business, however, his daughter Gina is with the firm as an analyst. Masa Fukasawa, Chairman of Greater China and Bernhard Hartmann, Managing Director together with partners including Jian Sun, Mui-Fong Goh, Howard Abe, Lian-Hoon Lim and John Meinhold hosted the reception.

A.T. Kearney Tokyo Alumni Network Party

More than 70 alumni were joined by several current Partners at a restaurant in late November for the annual Tokyo alumni network party. The attendees ranged from those who worked with the firm in the late 1980s to very recent alumni. Tak Umezawa, Managing Director of the Tokyo office, made a presentation on the firm’s growth and its future.
